I am in agreement. The South Carolina teams of 2011 and 2012 were good teams but they were not elite. In almost every game I watched them play they looked beatable.
The past two SC teams actually remind me a lot of Gene Stallings' Alabama teams from the mid-90s. Top 15/Top 10 caliber teams that would consistently lose to Top 5 competition.

the 2011 LSU team just destroyed people that year, and in the NC Bama was hungry, it seemed like LSU thought they would walk in and win the game.
