Ok? Except we're comparing A&M and SC in terms of how we would rank their seasons and how they would rank among the SEC seasons that didn't win it all. Posted on 4/7/13 at 8:07 am to RollTide1987
2012 USCe was a very good team, but let's get a reality check. 2012 A&M lost two very close games to LSU and Florida, two teams that in a normal year would be in BCS games. They beat Alabama IN Tuscaloosa and crushed a good Oklahoma team in the bowl game.
USCe did crush UGA, but they weren't that close in either of their losses and they squeaked out a win by the seat of their pants against Michigan in the bowl game. These two teams weren't the same.
And 2011 LSU dwarfs all. They had a better resume going into the BCS title game than most national champions in other years.
