After all the shite we have taken from Florida and their tPOS team/coach in recent years, we need this sweep badly.

frick FLORIDA

Oh, and getting back to .500 in SEC play wouldn't hurt either.

Getting the game tomorrow is absolutely huge for us....

Get that one and snag the Gov's Cup and our bigger goals(hosting) are back within reach...and we should be favored to win 4 of the final 6 SEC series...

Cohen also said that Lindgren is "very very probable" to start tomorrow. He said his pen went extremely well on Thursday and that he just wants to see no pain and a sharp slider in the pen tomorrow before the game.

I have no idea who would start if Lindgren doesn't, though.

I like our chances today. We are unlimited in our bullpen thank to a complete game by Graveman and a solid outing by Pollo.

Our pitching this weekend is how it is supposed to be done, now we can sweep and still have some of our best pitchers ready to go. Another plus is we'll have good pitching ready for OM and the Gov. Cup

Yep -- and one good Woodruff outing in the Gov's Cup from having him ready to be back in the weekend rotation...

Things are starting to click a little bit now. Keep pitching like this and we're about to make a nice little run in advance of the Vandy series...

Another gigantic bed shitting -- complete with Lindgren injuring himself(hopefully just a minor twisted ankle that doesn't cause him to miss even MORE time) -- despite just giving up solid contact once all day.

Not nearly as excited about the Gov's Cup as I thought I was going to be a few weeks ago...

I don't see it happening right now with us. LSU is wrecking shite though. Seems they may be peaking too early to me.

We just don't have any power hitters. It makes big innings hard to come by when you've only got one or two guys that are even legit doubles threats -- and we simply insist on beating ourselves in the most creative of ways. It's f'n frustrating because I felt like the last 2 Cohen teams found ways to win a bunch of games that they shouldn't, where they were completely out-talented, and overachieved in that regard. This one finally has the talent and is going the complete other direction with it.

Today, Lindgren was rolling up 2-0. Gave up their first solid hit of the day to start the 5th(he'd retired 14 in a row I think). Next guy bounces one up the middle that Frasier makes a good play to get to but slips and fails in the transfer to 2nd. Next guy bunts and Lindgren picks it up and looks to third(like an idiot) and turns and throws late to first and twists his ankle in the process. He comes out -- true fr Gentry goes in(which was fricking stupid on Butch Thompson) -- 3-1 count leading into a bases clearing triple. That's happened in both of his last 2 appearances. That was followed by a walk and another error -- and the flood gates opened.

Glad to see our philosophy in recruiting hitters has changed going forward. No more 5'8 guys coming down the pipeline it doesn't appear. Alot of potential longball talent on the way.
