Unfortunately I've known kids that age that have had to deal with more in that short span then anyone, child or adult, should ever have to deal with in a lifetime. And kids especially have a hard time seeing that it can get better down the road.
As for the OP, yes I've thought about it. I was in a pretty dark place when my brother died. But if I hadn't of seen what my family went through during that time I may have gone through with it.
My best suggestion is to talking to someone about it. Preferably a counselor or psych. The source of your sadness could be one out of your control (i.e. chemical, physical).
