I never said they would. It's literally my entire point. That goal can always be hanging there to chase, and we'll probably never get it.

Well, it's hard to argue against the fact that Bama is WELL on our way to doing just that.
3 NCs in the last 4 years (only 3rd time to ever happen).
Probably gonna win it again this year.
3 PEAT in the making (never been done even though Bama has been screwed out of it twice before).
No signs of slowing down. If Saban coaches till he's 70, Bama will have at least 5 more NCs.
These are all facts.
