Dudy Noble Field Capacity

I read the series write-up posted on the State board. It says that DNF holds 15,000. Two questions, is that true and do you fellas ever get that many fans in there? I don't think the Box can hold that much at normal capacity (I think they bring in extra seats for post-season play). I know you guys always do well in baseball attendance, but I would have thought with your history and that capacity, you guys would be able to break LSU's stranglehold on the top spot. What say you.
Looking forward to a great series with the program that is the godfather of SEC baseball.

What exactly are you asking?

When they host a regional, super regional or it's Super Bulldog Weekend every redneck State fan from Tishomingo County down to fricking Laurel kisses their sister goodbye, mainlines some oxycontin and heads to the Dude to go see some Dawg baseball.. It's incredible.. That's why they own the biggest on campus attendance records but don't necessarily rank in the top 3 for average attendance... If I was an LSU fan and I had a place to stay I'd definitely go catch a game or two up there this weekend.

Sounds like to me he's asking any Rebel fans to give him free tix to the series....

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I think we currently have 18 of the top 25 attendance records. Post season is when attendance gets upwards of 13k. Average attendance is in the 7k range I think

The largest crowd was 14,991 against Florida.

This was the crowd at the 2007 super. Having an open outfield area really adds to total capacity

Dudy Noble is a good time if you're not an Ole Miss fan.
Of course, I'm a pompous dick, so that doesn't work in my favor.

I prefer marijuana with a dusting of peyote, but to each his own.

How is attendance expected to look this weekend?

like a MSU/LSU series should always look like

It wont be as high as it should be because a lot of the State students won't be back from spring break yet. I'm thinking it will hover around 10k for each game.
