Will Saban go back to the JUCO well for a CB since the need for numbers is there? Or is just a numbers need and not an instant impact need?

On Roberts, I also don't think the Mathieu comparison is an apt one, but more to do with that Matieu actually was 5'10", which is a bit taller than Roberts. Mathieu also had disproportionately long arms for his height, which is something Roberts doesn't have but is something every DB coach and basketball coach in the country covets. Height can be deceptive, reach is as important.

I don't think he goes JuCo, we might sign one if John Cook has to go that route because of grades but I think signing that many has much more to do with the talent of this years crop, we are talking about a generational type DB in 2 different states this year and TONS of ridiculous talent all over the country for the position. It will be an instant impact need if no one steps up this yr however, but a few guys like Geno and Fulton played pretty well in backup.

I agree but what I saw from Roberts on film is the same thing I saw from Cook (who I was EXTREMELY high on the whole process, ask any Bama fan they got tired of my wailings for months when Bama didn't offer Cook, then my exuberance when he committed lol) and it is his intangibles and fball IQ which is vastly underrated as a prospect.
