Since our university literally sprung up around the "college" train stop/station that came through this part of Texas, we had no choice in the matter.
I think the B/CS locale is ideal. We're pretty centrally triangulated between Houston, Dallas, and Austin. And since most of us grew up in some of the largest cities in the country, it's fun to experience the charm of a smallish college town that's still very accessible to multiple large cities.
Now would I love B/CS to have a cooler climate? Hell yeah. But in Texas, that would mean the panhandle and the likes of Lubbock; so I'm willing to deal with our heat & humidity.
