Actually, in terms of dashed expectations and bitter fan mourning, I think A&M or Ole Miss are the most likely.

Alabama- eventually the string will end. But if they lose 2 or 3 games, I think most fans will be satisfied with their run, and the current state of the program. So not them.

LSU- we fit that bill last year; the entire 2012 calendar year was full of acid reflux. I think we're poised to finish top 10 again, and this time the fanbase will be more at peace with just winning most of the time. So not us.

Arky, Auburn, Tenn- no hopes to crush. Won't be them.

Fla, UGA, South Carolina- Gators had recent crash, UGA's used to near-misses, Carolina's used to coming close. Can't see any of them collapsing, so not them.

Mizzou, Kentucky, Miss St- coming from different places, but arrived at same conclusion- maybe a bowl team, maybe not. So not them.

Vandy- if they collapse, fans will be unsure if it ever happened, or just a dream. Assuming of course they have fans.

A&M- hopes to win the SEC and BCS. Primed for a fall.

Ole Miss- thinks they are gonna become a top 10 team; again primed for a fall.

My thoughts exactly. They will both lose 4 games and make all kinds of excuses and we will be in for 8 months of "2014 is our year."

I don't think most of us feel this way. We're just hoping to improve on last year's record and turn a couple of last year's moral victories into actual wins this year.
