Hopefully TW gets drafted high and puts some money in his pocket. He deserves it
No doubt brother. Ton of respect for that kid (I should probably say man at this point - he has some big balls).

Glad we were able to make a good hire now.
Best HC hire of the year IMHO. Wish my vols would have called first.

It's a shame Odell Beckham just fumbled the ball after a beautiful pass. Also a shame our defense, who played lights out, shite the bed on the last drive against Alabama. Or that our defense couldn't stop a damn team with their arse backed up to the wall from gaining 17 yards. It really is a shame because Mett would be the QB of an undefeated NC team right now.

Mett doesn't play defense.
One of the reasons Aj is as good as he is is because of his supporting cast. Mett did enough to win every single game this year. That's all you can ask from your qb.

The long ball needs to quit being overthrown also
That did seem to be his biggest problem.

Mett needs to focus. He needs to breath out. He needs to be developed by quarterback gurus. Do they have those at LSU? Mett has talent all... day... long.
Richt had a hard on for the kid. His mommy still works in the AD at UGA. He's a local kid from Watkinsville.
If his full potential isn't reached, it won't be because he didn't give it his all, it will be someone else's fault, that I guarantee you. 100% moneyback.

So Mett has 1 year to prove to the world he is a 1st class quarterback, and maybe go to the NFL? What is his major at LSU? For a fallback?
He'll be drafted similarly to Aaron Murray.

Well, if Murray is looking at a low draft projection, he'll just finish his PHD.
What are Mett's options?

I think JFF, AJ, Lacy and Clowney were household names by the end of the year but that's only 4 players in the entire SEC.
Forgot Jarvis

AJ was #1 and I thought they were pretty equal when LSU played Bama (except for the final drive).
Difficult to compare using a one game sample. How about you take all 13-14 games into account? When you do that…I think you will find that McCarron was consistently good, minus a game or two, while Mettenberger was consistently mediocre. That's why AJ McCarron was #1 in pass efficiency and Mettenberger was #12.

Industrial Psychology? I'm sure he'll go far in life with that. Good luck to the young man.

Yeah you could really tell on that 10 yard run to the endzone before half when you were guys were rolling us 14-3.
No you couldn't. The dude wasn't even touched.

I meant I'm not buying the "my ribs hurt" story. I'm not saying they weren't hurting because I have no doubt in my mind they were but did it take him until the 3rd quarter and most of the 4th to realize they were hurting? No one was saying how he hurt it was when it was 14-3.

I agree, probably non-factor. However, to be fair they say the cortisone shot wears off about the time of the 3rd quarter.

I think the ribs had some effect on his play. He injured them the week before against MSU. He was 10/22 (45%) for 93 yards on the night before entering that final drive. It's not like he had an awesome first half by any stretch of the imagination. It was statistically his worst game of the entire season.

Doubtful, if he only pursued sluts he would never have had any problems at UGA.
