LSU does with 23 won in 2008. UK almost tied it last season, but fell short after opening the season with 22 wins by losing to UT 4-1. After starting 22-0, they went 23-18 the rest of the way and failed to make it out of the Gary, Indiana Regional....

UK also started both '07 and '08 seasons with 19-0 surges...

Roger that - I knew a Gamecock fan would know but doubted a MSU fan would know. Kentucky lost to Tennessee in Knoxville in the first game of their series that prevented them from tying the record.

Do you remember how many SC won, (consecutively) in a row, in 2000?
