Not knocking Adams' ability, but I've heard he is extremely lazy. Gonna need constant coaching and motivation to maximize his potential, which is enormous.

As was Fairley until the light went on his second year. He was pretty mediocre his first year and pretty consistently took plays off.

A lot of these great high school players could be considered lazy, because they're just naturally bigger and better than everyone else and don't really have to try very hard. As long as Adams realizes he's going to have to put in hard work and he's coachable, the sky is the limit.
