It's interesting. Bama's good fans are among the very best in football but their mouthbreathers are, without question, the worst.

I'm close with a great Bama family, thankfully, and they associate with a good group.

This is where I think LSU and Alabama are pretty similar. In person, and amongst educated people who actually go to games, my favorite fans are LSU fans. We all get along really well, have a lot in common, and have the most fun together. The ones I know in real life usually say the same thing about Alabama fans too.

In contrast, the trashy Alabama fans and the trashy LSU fans are both just absolutely insufferable. I try to stay away from both.
