Might as well start working on our seed.

There's almost no chance we'll finish out the season .500 or worse, as the Watkins curse will almost assuredly give us a win.

shite.

I tend to bet a lot of money on the Aggies when they enter postseason tournament play...

...and lose.

As long as A&M doesn't run into St. Joseph during the tourney, we should be fine.

Don't ever do that! You can't take your heart out of it enough to bet properly. And it goes both ways Ex: I almost took the under on wins for us in football this season at 7 1/2 games cause I set myself up mentally for the downturn.

This +2. I won't even pick an A&M game in any contest/bet that has any sort of meaning unless I absolutely have to.

What you say definitely rings true. While I understand this sentiment, I follow a philosophy similar to that of Warren Buffet on stocks: bet on what you know. Most of the biggest losses I've incurred were the result of a missed layup or a blown opportunity at the end of the game. But those are the breaks.

Most years, I have a much better handle on our basketball team. Not this year, but at least it will make for a more exciting Vegas trip. Win or lose, rooting for the Ags in the sportsbook is almost as exciting as being at Kyle Field during the fall. Almost.

We could still possibly lose out...except we still play South Carolina and the Watkins curse is still in effect.

It might be better in the long run if we don't make the NIT...or we barely make it in and are eliminated in the first game.

Hyman then has far more ammo to give Kennedy an ultimatum for year 3: NCAA Tournament or pack your things.

$1.3 Million/season = a minimum of NCAA first round expectations, to include not losing to fricking Rice and Southern at home in consecutive years.

I think Kennedy gets year 3. However he will be on the hot seat with Hyman. No question.
