I had the misfortune of starting in 2000 when they had a huge shortage of student tickets. Freshmen were in a lottery and I along with several friends didn't get them. Ended up having to get from friends or buy my own.

The last few years though, have seen very poor attendance from students. This move is probably for the best. Big issue across NCAA football programs right now is attracting the younger alumni. They are trying a creative approach. I dig it.

This & go back to paper tickets...Let the kids handle who gets the tickets when someone doesn't wanna go. Weather it's to friends or scalped, let the free market work...
