anyone that thinks that aTm doesn't lose at least 4-5 games last yr w/out JFF is not worth having a true discussion with.

Seven of our wins were complete and total blowouts that were over by halftime (SMU, SCSU, Arky, Auburn, MSU, SHSU and Mizzu) so I think we can safely count those under the "we win with Showers anyway" category. We would have lost to LSU, Bama and probably Ole Miss. It's tough to say La. Tech would have won even though it was close because our defense was the problem, our offense scored at will on a horrible defense. I don't think they would have slowed us down any moreso with Showers.

Ironically, we might have beaten Florida with Showers given his superiority as a passer at that point and how close the game was through nothing special Manziel did.

I think worst case scenario we would have finished 8-4 with Manziel, with a good shot at 9-3. A bowl win and we might have had double digit wins anyway. Manziel was the sole determinent between a win and a loss in only two games. The rest of our team was pretty good.
