I think what he is saying, is that a potential 4 of 5 National titles for Bama does not constitute parity in collegiate athletics.

It would take a lot for UA to reach 4 out of 5...but you have to remember, a streak has to start somewhere.

Not Bama's fault. The other teams need to get on the ball to compete with Bama.

This reminds me of children's sports. All the whining that "my child's team didn't win". So they make it simple where everyone gets to win without working for it.

To me, this is what is bad for sports. Take away the competition if it's too hard for everyone else.

Why is parity good for sports? I like seeing excellence at the highest level instead of seeing average teams that get hot at the right time winning championships every year like in the NFL.
