Stats get Peyton in, despite the fact that he's not top 10 all time
This isn't even a good troll.
In fact, the dumb "Super Bowls are an individual stat" cliché is literally the only thing holding Peyton back from being widely considered the greatest football player ever. But he's "not top ten QB all time."
When PM retires, he will have more MVPs than any other player ever (already accomplished), more Pro Bowls than any other player ever (already most for QBs, two away from having all position record), been named 1st Team All-Pro more than any other QB ever (currently tied with Unitas), every statistical passing record, and every "wins" record, even though that's stupid since wins are a team accomplishment.

Probably going to catch hell for saying this, but while Peyton is definitely a top 5 all time QB, I would still take Brady or Montana over him. I put Peyton ahead of Favre, but both Brady and Montana put up phenomenal statistical seasons and managed to win it all multiple times. I definitely think that the SB stats get overblown, but there is something to be said about doing well in the playoffs.

Oh get the hell out of here with that. I'll give Peyton his due for being an all-time great QB and one of the top two of his era, but he's not in the running for greatest player ever.
