Well, according to Rivals only one SEC west team has out recruited us in the rankings every year since they started ranking this sort of thing.

I understand what this thread is in retaliation to but I'll answer anyway. The geographical location and less than stellar high school talent compared to the rest of the conference is the reason. A sign of a great recruiting class in the ability to lock down the state. If you can successfully recruit in-state kids then will have a great class. Once you get most of the kids from your state then you can move on to out of state recruiting. Arkansas may get the in-state kids they want but they won't have the caliber/numbers that LSU, Bama, UF, UGA, etc will. I think Arky does a pretty solid job in recruiting for the circumstances.

Why can't Arkansas recruit with the likes of Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and even A&M in the west?

All I'm going to say is that Beliema has done a hell of a job so far. We went from being ranked mid 60's to mid 30's in a short period of time. With a LIMITED recruiting period.
