I have heard arguments for and against 9 game schedules, and I am now for it. SEC teams can schedule home-and-homes in a way that when they have 4 conference home games, they have their OOC game at home too so that there is a consistent number of home games. In years, they have 5 home conference games, they can either do an away OOC game or a neutral site game.
