This. But the thread was started because certain LSU fans still can't let go of Saban. All that really matters concerning Saban is that he is far and away the best college coach in the country right now and his teams have won three of the last four national titles.

Exactly. As far as college ball, he's currently the best. Give him the best athletes and he will beat pretty much any other team. Just don't make him play, week in and week out, against teams that have the same caliber athlete.
