Exactly. Arkansas was a top 10 preseason team, as was Michigan. Auburn was a top 25 team in the Coaches' poll, and Missouri was barely out of the top 25 at the beginning of the season. Florida was ranked but most people mocked their ranking and thought they were over-rated based on the previous year's results. If you look at the preseason SOS rankings, you will find that most people ranked Alabama's SOS ahead of LSU's.

No LSU fan EVER complains about the SOS for their team in 2007 when they won their National Championship.

At the end of the year, the 2 loss LSU tigers had an SOS of 11 according to Sagarin, which includes their win in the BCS.

Alabama's final Sagarin SOS rankings by year:

2009 - 2 (LSU = 5)
2011 - 15 (LSU =7)
2012 - 19 (LSU = 15)

In 2008 Alabama's SOS was 29 (LSU's was 33)
In 2010, Alabama's was 14, LSU's was 15. Auburn's was 13.

Wow. Really? Arky and Mizz was thought to be good? From who? Why can't Bama fans just admit that they have had an easy schedule the last two years. It doesn't change anything.
