This is revision at its worst. Back in August everyone on the SECR was saying Alabama had no chance of repeating because of the difficulty of their schedule. LSU was supposed to have the softer schedule going into 2012. Look up last year's posts, it's all there. Then...something happened:

1) Michigan, Arkansas, and Missouri were not as good as advertised.

2) Florida had an amazing turnaround and became MUCH better than expected.

3) Texas A&M came out of nowhere when everyone said they'd struggle to win 6-7 games.

Before these developments, it was universally agreed that Alabama had a tougher road than LSU. Sometimes things don't end up being what they appear. For instance...LSU's schedule looks formidable next year because of Georgia and Florida. Georgia loses a lot on defense and Florida loses a lot of weapons on both sides of the ball. It could be those teams take a massive step back and those games become easier wins than expected.
