I honestly think these Bama teams would likely win. I would not be shocked either way though.. but I certainly think it's foolish to think the game wouldn't be completely competitive.

Then you are ignorant. These last Bama teams could'nt beat everyone on their schedule but could beat the greatest team of all time.

I think it's you that are biased, and not me being ignorant.

IN ORDER TO CALL SOMEONE THE GOAT, they would have to have played a similarly difficult SCHEDULE.

Nebraska's collective schedules were not as difficult as Alabama's. It took Manziel, one of the freakiest players of all time to beat Bama. And I think it's fair to say last year's LSU team was a fairly "decent" team, when we lost to y'all. Likewise, that same team got their arse smoked in the NC game.

One game does not a team make. We have proven that you can validate a 1 loss team last year, very convincingly.

Have you ever watched baseball or basketball? They play a series to determine who is a better team. No matter how mismatched, there is almost never a sweep.

When Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick proclaimed on Monday night that Alabama had “the greatest defense in the world,” and “the greatest defense to ever touch the field,” he wasn’t far off. The Tide allowed LSU to cross midfield only once in the national title game and finished the season ranked first in points allowed (8.2 PPG). Only one team scored more than 14 against the Tide all year and that was FCS Georgia Southern, which caught Alabama snoozing between SEC games. We are going to look back on ‘Bama’s unit (Kirkpatrick, LB Courtney Upshaw, LB Don’t’a Hightower, S Mark Barron, etc.) as one full of future NFL stars and the best defense of the modern era.
