You guys were a last second FG away from an 11-2 season and a poorly-covered screen pass away from playing in the SEC-CG and maybe heading to South Beach to play for the national title. I can't make excuses for the Florida game. That was a friggin disgrace.

The truth is that it takes some luck to win an NC. Best a coach can do is field good teams and then hope the make-or-break bounces go their way (injuries, ego/chemistry problems, those random 1-play bounces that decide a game). Despite yalls annual qb issues, Les seems to do that.

He's 35-6 over the past seasons... 2 of the losses were to eventual national champions, possibly 3 by tomorrow. 2 of the losses were road games against top 10 ranked rivals. Then there's the "10 wins, only beaten by teams ranked 2 and 3, WTF you mean 'Chick-Fil-A' bowl" game that had all the makings for a blow out loss (should of been too, if Clemson was actually good), but took Miles trying to be cute for the team to lose.

I blame Iowa State, Tyrran Mathieu, Chris Faulk, Alferd Blue, Tahj Jones, Josh Williford, Alex Hurst, Kwom Alexander, and, of course, Jordan Jefferson for the absence of two national titles in that time frame... not Les. Sure, he does some stupid shite from time to time (bad calls cost them Bama game this season) and then theres the embarrassing performance in the national championship game, nonetheless, the good outweighs the bad by far. And theres not a program in the country that would fire a coach with Miles' production. If Bama had lost the last 2 games to LSU, would Saban's job benin question?

If Bama played half the quality schedule LSU plays year in year out, I doubt their record would be so worthy.
