With all due respect my brother got into Auburn and he didnt do shite in high school had less than a 3.0 and his ACT wasnt too good either. Typically the rednecks go to Auburn and the wealthy kids go to BAMA. He was accepted into the Engineering Program too. He's a junior now in Mechancial Engineering.

These one off "my brother" stories don't mean shite. I had a 2.8 GPA in high school because I didn't give a shite. Took the ACT one time with no preparation, got a 31 and got into AU (probably didn't hurt that I was a legacy applicant).

I could give you plenty of stats about the average range of ACT/SAT scores and GPA's between AU and Bama and AU wins every time.
