Which loss is worse? UGA losing to WVU or UF losing to Louisville?

Louisville is #21. UF is #3 and they're losing by 3 TDs in the 4th quarter.
This is FAR worse.
This is FAR worse.

We at least made it a game after getting our asses smacked around early.

I was just thinking of being down by 21 and making a come back. Also, the shock of it is similar to tonight.

This year for sure. If rich rod doesnt call that fake punt we win that game.

Georgia came back against WVU and would have won the game if not for the damn fake punt that kept that WVU drive alive. Florida is basically getting owned on both sides of the ball.

No one saw that fake punt coming

It worse for Florida. UGA only lost by 3. We got dominated in the 1st half. Florida got dominated the whole game.

I don't think anyone watching that WVU game thought "Wow, Pat White going to be a top 5 pick whenever he leaves WVU" Tonight, anyone watching that game was nuts not to think "Wow, Teddy Bridgewater will be a top 5 pick in 2014." Us losing to WVU was far more embarrassing

VA, that's a pretty shallow assessment of things. No one knows where Bridgewater will be, either. I can assure you that Steve Slaton and Pat White were BOTH equally as good against us (and other teams) as Bridgewater was for Louisville last night and were widely discussed for their NFL futures. They had one loss that year and those two players running Rich Rod's offense were as potent as any in the country. We, however, did not get our asses DOMINATED for the entire game like UF did last night.
Sounds like someone is still a little butt-hurt over 2005.

It was the first UGA game I ever went to. I'll always be a little bitter about it.

I'm sure you did.

easy to say after the fact, hindsight is 20/20, etc, etc.

Hey, I hear ya. No worries. I can see why that one might have hurt a bit.

That said, let's be rational about this comparison: Last night's debacle by Florida clears our slate on the Sugar Bowl. It doesn't get much worse than how they shat the bed. They were never in the game. We were.

I agree. That is one area where we have finally improved. We are now trying to block punts instead of immediately turning around and running to set up a non-existent return. This limits fake punts.
