Isn't Ole Miss the only program to play another conference member in the Sugar Bowl on two occasions? Alabama in 1960 and LSU in 1964.

Ahhhh if any of you are over 60 yrs old you may realize that SEC teams played each other in bowl games quite often up until the mid 1960s. We played Ole Miss in the Gator Bowl as I recall back in the very late 50s. There werent many bowl games and the SEC wanted to keep all the $$ back then...teamns could go 7-3 like UF did in 1964 and not go to bowl game....now 6-6 is somehow worthy of a bowl trip.
