Murray has a pair of SEC East titles, but no conference championship yet. “When we talk about pros and cons of coming back or leaving, I think that’s definitely a huge pro of coming back,” Murray said. “I’ve always wanted to base my game off championships.”
quote:
Murray said his parents have strong opinions about what he should do, but didn’t want to share that. “They can only give me advice,” he said. “At the end of the day, it’s up to me.”

His parents shouldn´t give a shite about what he does, he knows he´s not ready for the big show (and may never be).
They should simply limit themselves to sourcing and advising about, human growth hormone.

Then he shouldn't have screwed the pooch on the last drive. Close as ya get, wee one.
Go pro, please go pro.

Whopper you douche he did not screw up the play. It was the coaches call not to spike the ball.

Please explain how he "screwed the pooch" on the last drive...you just elevated your status on here to a GATA or 77 level with that moronic comiment

I don't see Murray as a pro caliber QB at this point; as already mentioned he might never be due to size/arm strength. Could Murray become another Drew Brees on the right team? It's possible; he certainly has the work ethic but beyond physical talent, I think mental quickness and composure under pressure are missing elements also. Some of what makes a successful pro QB can be taught; some of it can't. Regardless Murray is a DGD and I hope he stays and completes a very successful college career.

Huh? You don't see him as a "pro calibre QB" but there's a "possibility he could become a Drew Brees on the right team"...on 1 hand you don't think he has NFL abilities and on the other hand you compare him to 1 of the NFL's great QB's...dude, he's in 4th yr as an SEC QB(3 yrs as a starter)...you either have NFL ability by now or you don't.
A DC politician couldn't' have said it better.

Valid but it is what it is. Drew Brees wasn't considered to have NFL size and arm strength either but he overcame those limitations with exceptional ability to read defenses, make quick decisions and accurate throws. As I said, Murray could become another Drew Brees type player but to date he's missing the mental aspect that NFL scouts recognized in Brees. Brees scored a 28 on the Wonderlic during the combine. Matt Stafford scored an impressive 38. It will be interesting to see how well Murray scores.

I see what your saying but take a look @ Brees college career...he had the ability to read defenses then and also had/has an NFL arm back then (not a Stafford arm but a very good arm) the only thing he did lack was height. He was a 2nd rd draft pick and had he been 6 "3 no doubt he goes top 10.

He will continue to improve and help with the development of the other guys. I hope he returns but also hope we get the #2s plenty of reps and not just mop up.

Murray will be the first QB since Greene to go 4-0 against Tech. Which I guess isn't saying much now that I think about it.

Oh no a guy who has been shattering SEC records, won two straight SEC East Titles, and was a tipped pass away from playing in the BCSCG is coming back.
Quick let's use an inexperienced QB, I know maybe the one guy who threw a pick six vs FAU.

People who legitimately think we are better off with Mason instead of Murray are absolutely morons. If we had a top defense we would be fine with Mason to not frick things up to bad and hand the ball off. But we need points and Murray is one of the best in the school's history at getting them. Quit being pissed off just to be pissed off and realize Murray is by far and a way our best option and we should all hope for him to return.
