Keep spinning it. State beat the shite out of a really really REALLY shitty Arky team. OM had all of their moral victories from being competitive with aTm, UA, LSU so their guys felt like they could beat State. Had they gotten skull drug in those games they would not have felt the same. OM had no false hope of winning those games, therefore just being competitive was a win. State felt as though they could have won against any of them so getting beat badly was a punch to the gut.

You just don't want to admit that the best team and coach in the state resides in Oxford.
