Mullen has taken to State to its 3rd consecutive bowl game for only the 2nd time in school history- meaning he has the program as good or better than its ever been.

Losing 4 of your last 5 games and getting beat down by your in state rival isn't exactly "heating it up."
8 wins and a Gator Bowl appearance looks good on paper but it's deceiving.

So if state is 6-5 going into the Egg Bowl and they lose, does Mullen's seat just begin to get warm, or will state fans be calling for his head??
