Why is their a misconception that LSU fans were pissed at Saban when he left for the Dolphins? He received a hero's welcome when he returned to TS with the Dolphins the next year. But I guess if he went to the Browns, failed and came back to coach Auburn you would still be thanking him and wishing him the best of luck. Especially if he immediately starting to talk down the Bama program and it's fan base.

If he then systematically kicked the crap out of my team when it counted and hung 2 or 3 NC's in our face within the first 4 or 5 years of said move,yes I could understand your butthurt.

Actually I have enjoyed the hell out of the last 7 years. I think it has raised the LSU brand in the national eye as much as anything. Alot of my former Marine Corps friends are Bama fans and the ebb and flow of these games have been fantastic and a ton of fun to have with football knowledgable fans. I guess if you call this year's game a systematic arse kicking then I really can't talk football with you though.
