OM Fans - How Often Were Y'all Called "Rebs" . . .

I know that's how the PA in TS referred to OM throughout the game (and I don't think it was meant to be derogatory; just that for most of old-timers you will always be the Rebels).

I don't think they were ever referred to as the bears of black bears in TS. But isn't that the official nickname/mascot?

I don't think anyone has called Ole Miss the "black bears"...the endzone says rebels. The whole black bear idea was not to replace the nickname of the teams.

Thread of the year 
I was at the game and not at home watching.
So instead of hearing the announcers say "Rebs", I was hearing the Feed Moncrief song constantly.
