Charlie Strong would rather coach Louisville for 8 years than coach the Vols. I thought Tennessee was the most attractive job on the market? Arky and Auby both have their coaches and Tenner just got turned down by a Big East coach. What gives?

Did Alabama's? We were turned down a lot in our 2003 and 2007 searches.

the thing is everybody has money now... colege football has changed a lot in the last decade.

Coaches realize they can make very good money at places like TCU, Vanderbilt, and Lousville where the jobs aren't necessarily the 24/7 constant scrutiny like some of the higher profile jobs.

Arky settled for a coach after 200 people told them No, they just hired the first scrub they could find. They will be back in the coach hunt after about 3 years of finishing 4th in the west.
