GA only gave up 6 inches more per rush than LSU (7.4 yds vs 7.25 yds) and that's with being smashed in the mouth on run plays twice as many times (45 vs 22). If Bama had run as much against LSU they would have gained 450 instead of the 350 they did against GA.
25 for 166 yds. 51 yds came on two carries. So the other 23 carries were for 115. I realize those two carries count but average yds per carry can be deceiving.
