Tennessee has offered the Vols head coaching job to Mike Gundy, a source told CBS this morning.
Wonder if Strong said no

Don't see him leaving his alma mater and TBP millions. Never thought the UT job would be this hard to sell. They fired Dooley before Arkansas and Auburn jobs came open yet they are the one still left without a coach. Interesting and surprising.

Not saying he'll take it BUT alma mater or not, Gundy is not happy with the AD Holder and Holder is not happy with him. Volitile situation.

This is all stall tactics. Gruden is the next UT coach. How many people did we name head coach before Saban took the job.

Forde thinks so
" LOUISVILLE, Ky. – On a day when media reports identified Charlie Strong as the leading candidate for the vacant Tennessee job, there was a quiet confidence here that the third-year head coach will remain with the Cardinals.
Charlie Strong guided Louisville to a 10-2 record and a berth in the Sugar Bowl. (AP)A decision from Strong on his future could come as soon as Wednesday, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Multiple sources who spoke with Strong on campus Tuesday said he seemed committed to staying with the Cardinals – through the Sugar Bowl and beyond. They expect him to coach Louisville in 2013.
"Unless he's the greatest poker player of all time, I don't think he’s going anywhere," one Louisville source told Yahoo! Sports. "

From Cecil Hurt ?@CecilHurt: Domino question: if Gundy goes to UT, does Oklahoma State go after Holgorson? And does Petrino fit at West Virginia?
Jesus, This coaching season is something to watch!

Is Jamarcus Russell gonna be the quarterback coach. Because Jamarcus Russell is better at football than Jon Gruden as evidenced by the game between the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Strong has officially said no now, right?
So UT is forced to keep their OC on as their new head coach?
