I don't think I've ever been in a Wal Mart check out liner for less than 15 minutes.

One time we had a checker's shift end while she was still on the register. I'd been in line like 10 minutes. She stops in the middle of checking someone two people in front of my out, turns off her light, and leaves the register.

I fricking hate that place.

Well you're not going to get the best of the best when your goal is in part minimizing labor costs. Wal-Mart gets the employees they pay for. It's not like it hurts business.
