Has any Bama fan explained how 12 teams in the SEC played 3 home and 3 road divisional games, yet A&M had two home divisional games and Bama had four home divisional games?
Why was that game not in College Station?
Thanks Mr. Bama grad, totally fair.

LSU 9-5
lol obvious answer Fulmer set fire to the Alabama football program on his way out from Tennessee...
Sanctions, several coaching changes, and that dumbass Shula.

No, we act like you're a dumbass for believing in conspiracy theories.
How ignorant does one have to be to believe that one guy put together this schedule?
It's not this one situation so much as these kinds of little things seem to pop up over and over again.

Strange that a guy that lives in the south went to an SEC school and holds a job with a company based in the south.I bet if you INVESTIGATE further genius you'll find alot more theories to look into . Im sure people would love another whining arse thread.

Put on your tin foil hat bro.
1992, Alabama opened SEC divisional play at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock Arkansas against new divisional foe, Arkansas.
Maybe they didn't want a repeat, because the original schedule this year had us opening SEC play in college station

So you admit that they changed the original plan for the SEC schedule to make Bama happy?
At least you can admit it.

LOL so you're admitting the SEC office changed the schedule to appease alabama?

Would have given aTm 5 SEC home games and left UA with only 3?

I don't understand why everyone hasn't excepted the fact that Bama will always receive partial treatment.
Posted on 12/3/12 at 6:31 pm to Choupique19
Well you should see my earlier posts that Draconian scrapped over. I would prefer that bama was scheduled to play harder out of conference opponents as well as the better teams of the east.
I would prefer Tenn stays though for rivalry sake, but honestly they just plain suck right now. I'd be good with swapping them for USCe or Georgia, just to improve SoS.
You also didn't see the irony in my post, but that's ok, I'll point it out. Alabama trounced Arkansas in 1992 with Bill Clinton present 38-11. Alabama lost to Texas A&M.. at home.
If schedule would've stayed the way I seen it, Alabama would've opened divisional play at College Station and played them much earlier. We possibly could've changed history.
But that's a What if scenario and those do not pan out.

Since you brought it up, why does LSU need a bye week before, and after, Alabama?
I have no idea why nor why that is pertinent to the conversation.
We're talking about championship representatives being dictated by cross-division draws. If you want to discuss bye weeks, which Bama fans apparently love to discuss in their quest to be more like Lord Saban, start another thread.
ETA: Which you did.

Would have given A&M five SEC home games
That's the first response I have seen on here in weeks that might make a little sense.
So where did the screw up with cross divisional sites? Is it possible, with 14 teams, to get equal 4-4 home and away, as well as 3-3 in division? Serious question.

Its funny that Gumps think Fulmer is to blame for Bama getting caught paying $200k to sign Albert Means.
Its also funny that you cannot see the conflict of interest in a Bama grad and fan putting the schedules together and a Bama grad being in charge of officiating in the SEC. I'm sure you say that's all just a coincidence and there is nothing at all to be concerned with. People with a vested interest in the status quo always claim there is no conspiracy and no cronyism affecting outcomes.
