ND has no chance. Bama's weakness is pass defense. ND cannot exploit that. ND will play a lot better run defense than UGA, but I don't think they can hang with Bama. This one will be over right after half time.
This.
ND doesn't have a Michael Floyd or Jeff Samardzija on this team as a receiving threat. The only threat is the tight end and I think Bama will cover him with Clinton-Dix or a nickle back because he is a mismatch for a linebacker.
Bama will roll

If anything, trying to be unpredictable is what got Bama in such a hole in the game. The run game was dominating but Nuss kept calling pass plays on first down. We will never know this but I think Saban somewhat took over the offensive play calling in the 3rd quarter and ran the ball right down their throats.
Bama is at its best when the other team knows exactly what we are doing and yet cannot stop it. When you have 4 future NFL players on the OL and 2 NFL HB's, there are very few teams who can stop a straight ahead pro style run game, even if you gave them the play call ahead of time.
This. I've noticed alot of teams are not biting hard on those first down playaction passes because they are expecting it. Then on 2nd 10 they are expecting the run and on 3rd and 8 or 6 they are expecting the pass.

Agree to this....We are/ were not the team that played last year. Seems after the LSU game we lost that Edge and looked vulnerable and Johnny Football proved it. Then this game last night. All I know if Saban has 36 days to prepare for ND, and our Boyz are rested and healed....they gonna come out Smokin' on ND. It may be close, but I sincerely think Saban will Be the difference

Sometimes we don't either.

It came down to the last play b/c of Bama's mistakes and UGA's special teams play.
I would grade Bama's play as maybe a C+...was not their best game by far. Probably their next to worst played game of the year...and they still won.
For teams to beat Bama...Bama has to first beat themselves...and they nearly did last night.
Bama was the team making the overwhelming majority of the mistakes. This game shouldn't have been close. Bama shut down UGA's run game, and Bama ran all over their defense.
This should have been more of a 35-14 Bama type game.
And if you're argument is that Bama is predictable...of course they are.
Everyone Bama has played knows they are going to pound the ball, play-action pass, intermediate routes and the occassional deep ball.
But no one has stopped it yet. ND will be maybe the 3rd or 4th best defense Bama has played this year...and maybe the 8th or 9th best offense best offense Bama has played.
Bama, by far, will be the best offense and defense ND has seen.
Plus ND has a freshman QB.

this. alabama is at it's best being predictable, but being so good at it that they just wear other teams down.
