I just want a system where an undefeated team doesn't get shut out.

I want a system where the only way to guarantee a chance for the NC is to go undefeated. The BCS almost did this. In fact, only Auburn in 2004 is the only major team to ever be screwed. The BCS was almost PERFECT.

4 teams will solve everything. We will never have more than 4 undefeated major teams. Basically, in my view, if you lose any game whatsoever you have no right to complain. The only teams that ever DESERVE a bid are undefeated teams. Everything else is a crapshoot and you should be thankful for a bid if you have 1 or more losses.

Let's maintain the greatest regular season in sports. Please. I hate the bullshite meaninglessness of the regular season in other leagues.

ETA: Let college football be different. That's what makes it so great. Don't you see that? No other sport at any level has an awesome regular season like college football, and it's precisely because college football DOESN'T HAVE PLAYOFFS. Implement playoffs, and you lose that.

Well, my solution is not supported by anyone. I think the playoff structure is already in place. Only conference champions advance which brings more importance to regular season games and a conference championship. But too many people want to have a 2nd chance if you don't win your conference. I've never liked the wild card concept which is driven by television money.

You have the entire regular season to make the top 4. You're saying the regular season is better if the NC is just decided between the top 2? You're not making any sense.
