If both Patterson and Petersen choose to stay at TCU/BSU respectively, then they are truly afraid to compete against the best.

Nothing wrong with being comfortable where you are making a helluva good salary, but at this point if they had any desire to win it all, they wouldn't be there.

I don't know. Coaches these days.. many are taking the high road and staying true to their schools. Patterson seems like one of those guys to me.

Will say if he were to ever leave it would be now.

This is not even an issue imo. What are those guys scared of honestly? They weren't afraid to play BCS bowls, out of conference SEC foes, or move to new conferences and face big time programs.

Meh. Patterson makes good money and is in a BCS conference now. What incentive is there for him to leave? $?

Patterson up to #2 on the coaching hot board. Says he'll interview regardless of an offer on the table.

If we threw $4-$4.5M/yr at Patterson, I think we'd have a legit shot to get him. But I wouldn't blame him if he stayed.

But I want him dangit! Find a way, Jay!!

For as much of a scumbag as Petrino was, his players never had problems misbehaving or run ins with the law/drugs.

TCU just had their huge drug scandal.

Petrino
_______

Patterson

(petrino over GP)

This simply is not true.

LINK

And you can add these two as well

quote:

In mid-March, offensive tackle Jason Peacock was arrested and charged with using a stolen debit card to buy $35 worth of gas. Wide receiver Kane Whitehurst was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia in early April

Yeah it happens everywhere.

Honest question. Do you really think Chizik had anything to do with the felony 4? Did he recruit the wrong kids? Did he somehow let up on these 4 and they went wild

I dont think it had one thing to do with him. It would have happened if any other person would have been coaching them

They are just dumbasses

Yeah, Chizik is to blame for the Felony 4 and the shootings. And Dyer. And Dyer having a gun. And all the spice and pot. And the PIs. He couldn't even keep his players from getting picked up for PI. His culture, his problems.
