We go back to Atlanta for the chic fil a bowl? We turn a great season into a mediocre season? The gayturds go to the sugar bowl? All the work we put in during the regular season means nothing if we lose to bama? How the heck does this add up?

Slive is pushing Bama/uga loser to go to Cotton Bowl and put Aggies on Cap 1.

It would make more sense for the league for A&M to go to the Cotton to play Tejas but I'd love to see UGA play them instead of (fill in bland BIG team here).

Long trip for Bama/UGA fans. A&M or LSU in the Cotton Bowl vs Texas makes more sense.

I know people care so much about what tier bowl they go to, but I'd rather beat up on Clemson's arse in Atlanta than go to Orlando ( ) to play Michigan or some shitty Big 10 school

Capital One is supposed to be the SEC-East equivalent to the Cotton Bowl. IIRC, the SEC pecking order (at least at the top) is:

BCSCG (If SEC team(s) is/are ranked BCS #1 and/or 2)

Sugar Bowl (SEC Champion or highest BCS-ranked SEC Team)

Capital One (SEC East highest ranked that does not qualify for Sugar)/ Cotton (Ditto for SEC-W team)

Chik-fil-A Bowl

Liberty

The other Tidy Bowls that often get SEC teams are Music City, Compass, etc. They're not New Year's Day bowls, that's for sure.

I would rather play Oregon or K State in a good bowl.

They're a lock for a BCS bowl. Loser of the SECC game is not going to a BCS bowl.

Just like Vox said

This how it's always been. And Brad Edwards has no idea of the pecking order if he thinks we slide to the Peach Bowl. I don't see Slive letting that happen since we open with Clemson next year.

Yes I know but wouldn't you rather play a good team than a middle of the road acc or big ten team? Don't you think we deserve to play a good team?

I think part of the argument against CFA Bowl is that #1, we're a hometown team and the bowls don't like the natives there because there's not as much tourist revenue coming in as a result, and #2, we kick off the 2013 season against Clemson.

This. After the bcs bowl tiers don't mean shite to me. We know our record and who we've beaten and why we're there. Personally I think the chick fil a bowl is more fun and is te bowl if prefer to go to and play Clemson.
