Ok I will bite ... why is Liucci a tool?
Three major reasons.
One, he regularly calls out paying customers for the slightest difference in opinion or complaint about this or that.
Second, when he gets away from recruiting it's embarrassing. For a "football guy" he really knows very little about the game. Someone got banned for a week last year because he got into a debate with Liucci over something he had written in an article, and it basically came down to the fact that Liucci had absolutely no clue what a zone blocking scheme was. After about a page, Liucci figured out he was dead arse wrong and banned the guy, deleted the thread and that was that.
Finally, his mother is his business manager and handles all the funds. Who the frick does that?
Like I said though, content is top notch.

Hahah I didn't know his mom was his business manager. That's hilarious if true.
I bought 247 and TA for awhile too. Stopped TA because of all the stupid threads, sheep and looch dick suckers and 247 because almost all their info you can glean off of following people on twitter. Just look for me and follow all the people in my list (twitter handle is my UN here).
That being said TA for A&M general content, 247 for recruiting.

He doesn't "regularly" call out customer and the biggest issue is that people need to learn that if you have a difference of opinion or a complaint posting it in a public forum is not the proper course of action.
I will tell you what next time you and I have a disagreement I will come to your office and start yelling and screaming about it ... is that appropriate? No.
Differences of opinion, complaints, or supposed corrections in articles (which I don't remember the discussion you reference so I don't know who was right or wrong) should be communicated through PM or email, they have been very clear and consistent on that. Anyone who chooses to do otherwise is just wanting attention.
As far as his mother working for him, she was also hired by Brandon Jones so obviously he feels she is qualified ... it is called being a small business, that's what people do, it isn't that rare.
None of that makes him a tool.
I can see where some come from when they say that he is 'hypersensitive' or that they all take themselves too seriously, I get that, but you are looking at it as someone posting on a forum. Not as a business owner.
I completely agree with TexAgs sometimes just pulling the company line, I have complained about that before. At the same time, they have the most access to the program, they have the VP of Marketing as a regular poster, they have TAMU Compliance as a regular poster, they have a strong relationship with the 12th Man Foundation and the Association, do you think they would get any of that if they constantly questioned the university's decisions and didn't "tow the company line" it is a trade off. If you recognize it for what it is I don't see why it should a) come as a surprise or b) be an issue.
Again. I disagree with a lot of the stuff Looch and Co say, I also disagree with a lot of the Looch cultists .... BUT ... they have the best access and the best content and the biggest issues with the site is 90% of the time the posters, not the people running it in my opinion.
