Figured I'd put this here so we can discuss in peace. I love the hire. Think Mitch made a great hire here. Can't wait to see the staff.

I love it. It's going to come down to his staff, though. The guy is hungry to prove himself as a HC. Now he needs to hurry up and hit the recruiting trail.

I'm a fan of the hire. The guy can coach a defense and that's what you need to win in the SEC.

I would assume he has ties in Ohio and Florida so it should be good.

I hope he gets solid OC and DC to go with him. I'm stoked. I would have preferred a HC with HC experience, but he has a good name, and ties to the south and Ohio, so I'm willing to give him a shot. Defense wins games, and I'm glad he's a defensive Head Coach.

Everything I've read/heard says he offered Coley first and he has a 48 hour window to decide. If not then Brown. I'd be tickled with either.

Hopefully he gets a good staff, and we got the funding we need. Recruiting should be better by default.
When we heard it was likely Stoops or MacIntyre, I would've been happy with either.

I will be glad when he finishes with the ACC Championship Game so, we can see and hear him. I think the press conference is at 3pm on sunday, but not open to the public. I really hope he doesn't coach in FSU's Bowl game. It would be some extra exposure for us a little, but I think he would be far better off here recruiting and hiring his staff and preparing his plan for UK Football next season. What say you?????
