So, Do any of us have a single clue?

Based off everything I'm hearing do sources even exist within the Arkansas football program anymore?
Is Jeff Long so good at keeping a secret that nobody knows wtf is going on?
We've heard considerable noise in the direction of Gruden, Patterson, Petersen, Gundy, Stoops and Franklin. Very little of that noise makes any kind of sense and it seems that almost all of the leaks are from our side of things with only the Grudenite contingent claiming anything from the other side of the conversation.
Is our athletic department deliberately releasing a ton of bullshite? Realistically is there even a way we can assess the likelihood of any particular hire? Are we going to end up with someone out of left field that we haven't even heard of?
This seems amazing to me that there is so little information out there. It seems relevant to point out that the schools of the people we're supposedly hiring aren't leaking anything either. Is that because there's nothing to it or did Jeff Long murder everyone he spoke to outside of the primary parties?
I can't help but think that we have to be hiring someone connected to the NFL because the college stuff would have leaked already.

It's not my business to know, I'm just damn curious. Most of my donations go to the academic side.

I know, just hear that people who do the opposite of you on the donation side are pissed because they are not hearing anything.
Just how Long rolls, the past two coaching searches were the same. He seems to have no problem with having the image of being an "idiot" and having hires "forced" on him or "falling in his lap".

I've just sat back and laughed mostly.
I figure, it does no good to get all caught up in this stupid shite.
Like the hire or don't like the hire, he'll be the head coach for multiple years regardless. Whether it's Al Golden, or Gus Malzahn, the program will go forward. You'll either still be a fan, or you can go frick yourself and root for ASU the next 3+ years.
Couple of weeks it will all be over thankfully.
I'm not sure what rumor has been the dumbest, Gruden, Cowher, or Peterson. Probably Gruden with all the momentum it got, but Peterson is coming close. I can't believe some people actually tought any of those 3 were ever legit possibilities.
I figure, it does no good to get all caught up in this stupid shite.

There are people who know. I truly believe that Long has a agreement with a coach who is coaching this weekend. Letting the news out could kill the deal. Once this weekend is over with they will ask for permission to talk to the coach who has a deal, he will sign contract, and be on a flight to the Ville.

anything we're hearing is nothing more than the posturing of billionaires, who by all accounts are actually pissed they are out of the loop.
