2011 - the SEC champ made NC and the last spot was between an OSU who won their conference and had 1 loss and a Bama who only lost 1 game also. 2012 - ND makes it because they are undefeated. 2nd spot is the winner of SEC championship. situations would only be similar if ND had lost a game.

Logic doesn't matter I have made this exact point a number of times. At this point LSU fans are in all out attack mode because they are worried about what another Nc for Alabama means to their program. Which is absolutely nothing. Alabama and LSU are not tied at the hip. Kids that want to be at Bama or LSU will be as long as both schools are Competing for NC. This is getting absurd and why the admins haven't taken control I dO not Know

One the rankings of Florida and Bama. Two OK state lost to an unranked team second to last game of season. Three Bama lost to the number one team by three pts in OT. Bama benefitted by virtue of LSU being number one and remaining that way. Florida lost to a team that is number three. Each season and the games that are played are different year to year and you can't paint each season with the same broad brush. The BCS is set up to put one versus two not best conf champs. Bama was easily the best team last year simply because our offense was far more balanced than !!!LSU. If Florida and Georgia were one and two and the game was as close and Georgia was sitting at one and Florida at three assuming Bama loses the seccg then Florida would go as numbe trek and we would have the same situation as last yr. as it is ND is one and there is no way to get Florida in. Had ND lost to USC then it would be Bama or Ga vs Florida with the exact same situation. Bama has benefitted from the rules that are in Place and I don't see why lSU fans have such a hard time seeing this.!!!

Actually, I bless the BCS at it nears its very end (4 team playoff) for putting the proper teams into the equation over the last 2 years.

I just cannot imagine how anyone could see this any differently from me (struts with Crimson shades).
