Sure we've had some teams that were a lot better, but this team has won my heart in a way that no other rebel team has. What they have been able to accomplish this year with the odds against them was nothing short of amazing. I've never seen a team with so much heart.

I have been thinking the same thing. The heart and passion they play with is unreal. What a coaching change can do is seen with this team. I have never been more excited watching a Rebel team as this one. I know its only 6 wins but some people don't realize what we have lived through. Usually about this time of the year I'm thankful the nightmare is ending, but this year I wish there was more than just one game left...

Great day to be a rebel! Hotty Toddy!

I can't express how excited I am about this team! I just want it to be signing day then fast foward to next season as fast as possible. Realistically what should be our expectations/ceiling for this team next year?

Vandy - Win
SE Missouri - Win
Texas - Toss up
Alabama - Loss
Auburn - Win
Texas A&M - Loss
LSU - Loss
Idaho - Win
Arkansas - Win
Troy - Win
Missouri - Win
State - Win

We'll probably drop 1 bad game somewhere so I think a reasonable guess would be an 8 win season.

If this team improves and builds on this season like we should I don't think we will be out of any game next season. Now I'm nowhere near saying we will go 12-0 let me get that out there.

But I expect 8 wins. But really think we will hit 9. I think we take out either Texas, LSU, or A&M.

I mean we SHOULD have had LSU and A&M this year.

But back to favorite team? Yes without a doubt. I will admit I've only followed Ole Miss since 05 (when I started there) but the players and personalities that this team has is special.

Between Bo and Moncrief and Scott on Offense they were a blast to watch. But on D Denzel and CJ are just special.

I don't see how we don't get RN after seeing the field rush and the students chanting their name as they were hugging. Pure happy emotion.

Ha, never paid attention to it, but it does come across that way. I use 42 in about everything because that was my number in baseball & football all through my years of playing growing up.

With my Red&Blue glasses fully on I see 8 wins for sure ... 3 toss ups which I say there is a good chance we can win at least one of the Texas School Games if not both ... never know what can happen with LSU ... and the only game I'm convinced we dont have a shot at is Alabama.

Moncrief and Taz are by far my favorite players on this team as well ... so much heart from these two

Haha same thing here I always had 42 for the longest time I can remember but had to off-shoot sometimes to 32 & 52. But anyway thought that was funny.

I dunno, I think this new staff is different. I think we will win the games we are supposed to and maybe steal one we aren't.

Vandy, Texas, A&M and State are all toss ups. I still think we get beat by LSU and Bama but I see 8 as a good number.

And this team is bad arse but that 08 team was pretty special. Dex, BB, Snead, Shay, Wallace, Powe, the Jerrys, Kendrick, Jamarca. That team was fun to watch.

We just need to make sure we don't get over confident too fast. We are still thin and have depth issues on defense and our depth will be Fr next year. We are still 2 years from full Freeze potential offense that will look like Oregon.

I agree with not getting to confident.

But I don't think this team will...,,yet. With all the games we have away this year and how bad the two past seasons had been I think there is enough fuel to keep the team hungry

I agree let's don't be overly confident but I still think with what we have and what we gain ... that a possible 8+ win season is really too far away, but in saying that I don't think I would really be shock if we only win 6-7 either

I will be shocked if we win only 6 games. And very disappointed if we win only 7.

For the sake of discussion, name one area of the game where we will take a step backwards next year? About the only thing that comes to mind is O-line, and that might only be a push.

What say ye?

I'm not disagreeing but you have to compare our improvement against the teams on our schedule. Ark has talent but didn't have a coach. Aub still has talent too. Beating State in Starkville is never easy. Mett will be much better in year 2. JFF is going to be even better. Bama will be Bama again. If Franklin stays at Vandy they won't get any worse.

And I'm worried about our DT play next year without Pena and Grant. Our offense should be even more efficient though.

No question we will be better but that doesn't always mean more wins.
