Can someone tell me what is going on with these rumors about Pinkel

refusal to make staff changes? maybe resigning?

It's all rumor. No one knows. My best guess is that there is a behind the scenes fight between MA and GP over staffing changes, and nothing will be said publicly until it's worked out one way or the other. I would guess that even MA and GP don't know how it's going to work out right now.

Spot on. A test of wills at this point. We'll see who blinks first.

Pinkel made it obvious Alden has been putting pressure on him to do something. Pinkel gave it away by being so defensive and essentially giving everyone the middle finger in his post game interview. The dude is in total ego-rampage mode.

There won't be one for a while. This will drag out behind closed doors for weeks would be my guess. Alden isn't going to rush this. This is a delicate situation. Alden will give Pinkel every opportunity to prevent Alden from having to make a decision.
