Any advice for a place to park tomorrow for the game? My FIL is coming and is a huge UT fan, but he's 76 years old and I would like to find a decent place to park not too far from the stadium. I'm OK with paying for the opportunity as well. Any advice?
Trying to make it a special day for him. He's super excited, as he hasn't been to Neyland in about 20 years.

You can pay to park at a couple spots on the strip that aren't far from campus. Either way, it will be tough on him with all the construction going on around the stadium. It's not exactly smooth.

ALmost anywhere downtown, If your driving on Cumberland Ave. You should see plenty of signs for parking.

My FIL is in pretty good shape, so he can walk, but I would want to try to get as close as I can, or even drop them off and go park somewhere.
I just wasn't sure if there were specific pay lots fairly close to the stadium that we could get into.
Thanks again!

Thank you. I'll look at Cumberland Avenue on google earth and see it is and try to map something out.

NP Brotha, GL. That place is a zoo on gameday, try and give yourself plenty of time to find a good spot

That's a concern, as the plans are to leave Lexington around 7am, so they won't get to the area till 10:30am. I would prefer a bit earlier, but that's what they want to do.

I don't think you'll have much trouble tomorrow. I wouldn't expect it to be overly crowded.

Thanks. I would hope Senior Day bring out a bunch of fans, especially now that Dooley isn't there...

No, definitely not over crowded unfortuantely but none the less parking is always a pain in the arse. Any turnout over 10,000 would make parking less then ideal @ Neyland especially if you don't know any spots

I'm sure. For the size of the place, I don't see large designated parking areas close by on Google Earth....except the parking garage between the stadium and the river.

If there are any mobility issues, I would find out where the shuttle service pickups will be. They have a special service that drives up people with special needs I think to front of stadium. No idea where their pick ups are.

Guys and Gals, just wanted to say "Thanks". With the help provided here, they got parked and in the game and sent me a picture from their seats. I appreciate the help!
