Was being hit on in a bar in Houston with my cousin by a douchebag who said, "I am an influential poster on the biggest LSU fan website". After cackling at his douchebaggery, I googled LSU forums to see if I could figure out who he was. After clicking around, I found the SECr, which it turned out, had fans from all schools, and I have always been a huge football fan. It was right around the time that LSU fans were outraged about the PP7 faux interception no call, and being from a family of antagonistic people, I was drawn in.

Because I liked the board. I hardly ever posted on TD when that is solely what this account was. I hate the swamp kittens.

Would rather read various opinions even if half the crap is crap, than to spend my time on a msg board where you are only allowed to beat off to the standard company line or get called out or banned.

I think I first read about it on Red Solo Cup and lurked for a long time. As unlikely as it may seem, there was actually some misinformation posted on ATPB, and I signed up so I could post a correction. I do not recall that that factual information was well received. 
I don't post much, but I stay around because this place is hilarious.

It's been an SEC site for well over a year - more like 5 years. I think, in some crazy scheme to increase profit, that Brian decided to expand from just and LSU fan site to an SEC fan site, this increasing page views, impressions, and ad revenue. Crazy concept, I know.
Reason for joining was that it was a one stop shop for great intense football conversation.

It's the board with the most traffic from the highest number of SEC schools. TexAgs gets more traffic, but it's all Aggies. This board has everybody.
